ps...I just saw your post about your little Maltese and am sorry. This site is full of information on small breeds and you should find just about anything you need to know here by using the search function or posting - I hope your new baby checks out at the vet. My friends dog did this with an Iron cord and wasn't so lucky.....
Yorkies are VERY Curious by nature and you really have to watch them all the time. They're sneaky too - so watch for that
they'll find stuff and hide with it especially if they know they aren't susposed to have it....
