Look under Training at the thread "I've got a little poop eater". I don't know how to insert a link to that thread to this post or I'd do it for you. From that thread it sounds like it's pretty normal for them to eat their own poop. Someone on there mentioned something you can give them to try to stop it. I can't remember the brand name but the item was called SEP (Stop Eating Poop). My Yorkie doesn't eat her own poop, she raids the cat's litter box. Good luck with your new doggy!
