How lucky is she! I fostered a Shar-Pei for 6 months, and I was so attatched! He was a wonderful dog, and someday I want another one. I don't know of any breeders, but make sure that the breeder is very into socializing the pups, and make sure the parents are friendly and have a good temperment. Shar-Peis tend to be aggressive, much in the same way pit bulls are. There are some very sweet ones out there, but they were bred for fighting.
