Both of my girls are scared to death of thunder and firecrackers. Last night when the firecrackers started both jumped straight up from their sleep. Emmy came immediately to me and got in my lap. She hid her face under my arm. Alyssa started shaking. I am sure the noise is so much worse for them than for people. I just hope the 4th is relatively calm and quiet around here as far as fireworks go. All we can do is hold and cuddle them and reassure them that everything will be ok.
