The vet tech at my vet said on a 45 day xray that you can see skelatons and would be able to count number of puppies to expect. If you get xray done on day 58 won't babies be too big to really get a good picture of how many? I can't remember when I had a picture taken when Davie was pregnant, but we could see the one puppy she had. I don't xray any more becasue of the cost and two weeks later you have them anyway, and the $80 can go for a dinner out!! I will do a little research on this and see what others think.
