Dave, I am so sorry for your loss. The decision you made yesterday was for the best, though I know it doesn't feel like it. I was faced with the same decision last year. Not with a yorkie, but a collie. She was in end stage renal failure and could hardly function at all and I still felt guilty. I still cry for my Cheyenne sometimes. I understand. Try to remember the good times and funny memories. He still loves you and as someone else said, I'm sure he would thank you if he were able.
