OMG. It might be infected if it's swollen. Have you called the vet for a suggestion. You can never be too cautious. I would suggest not putting anything on it unless you consult the vet first. Does it seem like it's tender. Not that I want for you to sit there and touch his piece every minute, but maybe just to see if he has any pain at all. Let us know how it goes. Good Luck.
