Star I Made Doggie Cookies!

I decided to make some cookies for Lacy tonight and to share with the other dogs tomorrow if we get to have a 4th of July BBQ. They are Peanut Butter Honey Nut Cheerio Cookies (although I used the Cinnamon Apple Cheerios instead because that's what I had in the house). She loves them!

Here is the recipe:

1/4cup Peanut Butter
1cup All Purpose Flour
1/2cup Vegetable Oil
2 Large Eggs
2 Cups Honey Nut Cheerios (or Apple Cinnamon Cheerios)

Melt Peanut Butter in microwave for 20-30 seconds to soften peanut butter. Mix in flour, vegetable oil, and eggs and blend with mixer. Add Cheerios and mix. I recommend a large bowl so the cheerios don't all fly out! I just mixed it enough to where the cheerios were mostly broken into small pieces but it was still very lumpy. Use a rounded teaspoon to drop dough onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Let cool completely and store in airtight container.

The dough seems very oily and a lot of oil comes out while cooking, but after 9 minutes in my oven, the cookies were nice and crispy (alhtough a little softer on the inside).
