I havent been on YT in a couple weeks. Let me tell you why. I have been so busy with my new cat, Emma Grace. I found a website around mothers day that seemed to have very nice persians. I emailed back and forth with the lady for a few weeks and sent my payment for a cat. I went to the airport last Tuesday to pick her up (In new orleans, it was a 2 hour drive for us.) The next day I took her for her vet check..... where can I begin.
She had a very bad yeast and bacterial infection in both ears
sores and scabs on her feet where my vet said looked like she had been kept in a dirty cage
Ringworms!
and the vet also said she seemed to be very timid and didnt think she had been handled with very much.
The woman I bought her from told me that she slept in the bed with her and stayed inside with her other pets and family.
I met a woman when I was at the airport picking her up that was from New orleans actually picking up a cat from the same lady. I got that ladys email address so we could talk about our cats. I emailed her yesterday and she said she has all of the same problems, even worse, with hers.
So I have had her 2 weeks today and we have already been to the vet 5 times.
I am upset that the lady lied and misrepresented her cat, but I am even more upset that this poor thing was neglected.
I emailed the seller and she just said she would not refund any of my money or pay any of the vet bills.
So sorry this is so long, I just wanted to let my YT extended family know where I have been!
oh by the way, I am taking good care of her.
