I am not a breeder so this is just what I think I would do. First, if someone asked for a discount I would be less likely to give it because, unless they are financially strained, they need to be willing to pay full price. Even over the money I can only think of one person in my famly that I would ever consider letting have a Yorkie puppy from me. Everyone less it seems doesn't have time for one, has big dogs that they don't control around small ones, have kids, feed their animals not such good food or too much food... I would make all family follow the same rules and use the same contract so I know they would be getting a good home. If one of my family members met all that criteria and I wanted them to have one just because, I might give them one for free.
