Although I have not read through all of this, I must say you should demand the AKC papers. Post #20 says it all. It is a birth certificate and without it one of the sickly pups could very well be your pups sire/dam
The internet is a strange place to trust and we learn from each experience but this is a hard one. Breeders like this will change their website and give themselves a new name so all I can say is do your homework and who could have done more than you. It took me 2 yrs to find my yorkie and went with a breeder that belonged to the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America (the club lists who they are) I know I was far from alone in recommeding Stacy but I am so VERY SORRY for my part in this.
