Someone asked about the chips moving-they CAN travel down into the shoulder or the leg-but it's rare, my vet said. And, in a yorkie, it's not a problem if it does move, because they're such a small dog that the reader would pick it up anyway. It's only really a concern in larger dogs-if the chip moved down the shoulder of a mastiff, a vet might have a harder time finding it right away on the first scanning. |
