I would wait a couple days and give them a call back and ask for the boss. I would then tell her your name and you were checking on the status of your application. I have worked in a couple of daycares and that is what I did. The first daycare I worked at I was interviewed the same time as another lady. I just acted myself and I didn't dress up very much. I wore nice pants and a nice top. Nothing fancy. I took an actual Early Childhood Education class in high school for college credit so I did learn a lot from that. Just if you have any tatoos or piercings (except the ears) I'd cover them. I had my belly button pierced but they didn't know. Mostly I wore t-shirts and jeans to work and in the winter hoodies.
