I recommend the hooman start massaging thee puppy's feet and legs from day 1. Gently with occasional more firm strokes. I use the same type clipper Stacy does..Clipper often and take off only the very tip til you have the hang of it. Don't spaz out or your baby will sense it..Try doing only a few nails at a time and start with the front ones. They seem to jump and push off on their back legs enough to wear the back ones down a bit. The front ones are more important so do them first.
I have tried the Dremel tool-major disaster here. My pack went flying everywhere so we will continue the clippers.
Another thing--ALWAYS check the legs/paws to make sure your baby does NOT have dew claws. I have seen them curling and growing back into the flesh..If a puppy has them, no prob. Keep them clipped and have the vet remove them when the dog is anesthetized for altering and dentals..
