 ugh
Bella may have eaten the top of a pop can (the lil topper thing to open it). The person who thought they saw her was 10 sheets to the wind and I was there right away and found nothing in her mouth.
Usually she's a chewer, not a swallower. She chews on everything. Later yesterday, after it happened, she was eating some grass. Which of course made her throw up. The first time she threw up, her front legs went weak and she kinda went down. I grabbed ahold of her and held her up as she threw up again. Regular clear muscous type stuff.
Bella's been fine since. Eating, drinking, playing. She's pooped twice since then, and nothing that we could see has come out.
I don't want to over-react and go running to the vet for x rays, since I'm not completely convinced she swallowed anything. But at the same time, I don't want her obviously to get ill if she did.
How much longer should I wait to see if anything passes? Or be resigned that she's okay? |
