Personally since Timmy is going to foot a $3,000 bill to try and save Lilly I think with the reputation Sylvan appeared to have, it would seem that the right thing for Stacy to do is give her her initial $500 adoption fee back to put towards saving Lilly's life. I don't think that is something that should have to be asked but rather something offered by Stacey in Good Will. Timmy is trying to do right by this little girl. Just my oppinion. Elaine |
I cannot beleive she charged so much for a sick puppy. I could understand a small 200 or maybe a little more adoption fee but OMG 500 dollars. I think the PA lemon law is very similar to the NJ one so she may be entitled to the 500 dollars back. I would seriously look into this. I know that 500 dollars doesnt even touch the amount of the PDA surgery but every little bit helps.
I have been following this topic and like others have said no one is Bashing Slyvan yorkies but they are entitled to what they paid for. I would want my papers if I had paid for a dog with AKC papers. You upholded your part of the contract it is only right she uphold her part of the contract. I hope you have started the steps legally to get what you paid for. This sounds like an open and shut case. But if this breeder were smart she would take care of this before it goes any farther. All she is doing now is destroying her name and by ignoring this problem its only going to get worse. Im sure like others have said, all she had to do was talk to you, explain things (even if they werent as she stated when the pup was sold). Im sure this would of never been posted on the internet and now its out there for the world to read and when someone now does a search on Slyvan yorkies they are going to find this topic and are going to look elsewhere for a pup.
