I do think she's too young to be professionally groomed, but you might call around and see if a groomer will let you walk in and just shave the tips of the ears for you. I know we've done that where I work before. We normally just charge $5.00 for something like that, and that way the puppy doesn't have to stay all day for grooming - plus we don't like to take them until they are fully vaccinated including rabies. So if you don't feel comfortable shaving the tips yourself, call around because I'm sure there is a groomer that will do that for you. I would wait at least another month to see if they'll stand on their own before taping them.
