our family has just made th same decision. We were hoping to get layla a sister next summer but have now decided one is just perfect for our family. We do a lot of travelling and Layla has adapted so well, we worry the next one might not. Also my parents own their own business and layla spends the days there and it took us a while to get her to the point where we know exactly how she will behave with customers and we worry the next one might not be the same. While at some point in our life another yorkie might be in our cards, for the next few years it isn't, and like you, i feel sad with the decision, but we know it is what is best for our family. it sounds like our families are a lot a like!
