WOW, thanks everyone for the advice and help. We will most likely settle on a name in the next couple days. MY other 2 dogs aren't big ole mean dogs, my oldest is Baby, she's 5 years old, and she is just that, a baby. a little larger than the new addition and my 2nd dog but wouldn't hurt a fly, she imediately tried to start playing with the new addition soon as she entered the home, but the "newbie" for lack of a better name, wasn't receptive at all grouled and snapped at baby. I think it just scared her, too soon ya know. My 2nd dog is a Chihuahua, he's very possesive and jealous, not big enough to hurt anyone or anything but grouls alot, so i do try to keep him from trying to intimidate the Yorkie. The Yorkie will sniff them but she won't allow them to sniff her in return. I'm pretty positive she's not hard of hearing, cause the few time's i've gotten her to come to me on her own she did so hearing me snap my fingers to her. You guys are all great, thanks so much for all the advice and help. I'll put it all to good use. |
