I used the Gentle Leader on my old Basset Hound Charlie and I don't think I will use it on anothr dog. It worked really really well. I had no problems walking him, but I seriously suspect that the GL caused him to become depressed. He hated having it on and he seemed so depressed. The GL is very good for walking on a leash, but for some dogs, it can have bad side effects like depression.
