Animal Smiley 036 New to Yorkie Talk and having a dog!

[F]I am the happy owner of the sweetest, most lovable and loyal 18 mth.old Yorkie named Harley. Over the weekend, she was attacked by another mutt dog 3 times her size. The other dog held Harley in her teeth only by Harley's ear and we were able to extract Harley out the "mean mutt's mouth" without breaking skin. But today, Harley's ear is RED and sometimes is a little floppy & sometimes it stands up normally. Is this cause to take Harley to the VET? Can the ear be damaged even if there are no bones in the ear flap and was no blood? I cant afford to run her to the vet for every little thing that comes up! Only to find out that there is nothing wrong or nothing the vet can do. HELP! What is a worried yorkie mom to do??? Thanks for any advice.[/FONT]
