I think it's too soon to tape his ears. Kalina had one floppy ear and one standing ear when I got her two weeks ago. She is 3 months now and her ears are both standing. Keep the fur part-way trimmed from her ears and that might help if they are very hairy. Otherwise, I'd wait a while yet.
