I agree. Don't just look through the phone book that's what I did like an idiot and the lady knew NOTHING about Yorkies. She cut my baby's quick and kept telling me there was no reason a puppy's ears needed to be trimmed. I kept asking her questions about how to groom him assuming she was a dog expert but she knew nothing, only how to yell at dogs....So make sure you go to someone who you were referred to by a trusted source, such as your vet, your best friend, the breeder (if in your area, etc.) that know about how to care for these specific dogs or at least toy breeds. Groomers that only do big dogs tend to be extremely rough with little breeds as well. This is definitely a more serious decision than I realized...
