Animal Smiley 036 New to forums/New Yorkie Owner

I've just adopted a standard Yorkshire Terrier over the weekend that was homeless, have been reading up on the breed. A female, who apparently has had pups before. She's very good natured and a wonderfull addition to our family however, because we have no idea what her name is, can't get her to respond to us at all. Anyone have any tips on how to get a slightly older dog to take to a new name? It seems she has a very small attention span, hard to get her attention, one track mind. Any tips to get her to pay a little more attention? Also, any tips to get her to warm up to our other dogs would greatly be appreciated as well.

Thanks
Karie
