I gave Lacy her chicken neck tonight. I spread a big beach towel on the kitchen floor and gave it to her. She is used to eating torn up medallions so wasn't doing a very good job of tearing the skin off of it so I held it for her so she could chew it better. Once I thought she had the hang of it I put it down but she just stared at me so I picked it up again. I ended up holding it for 40 minutes until she was done with it LOL. Hopefully she'll get better at chewing it on her own after a while. She seemed to really like it. I had also cut a smaller piece off and put it in a bowl on the towel for my cat, Sophie, to chew on. She mostly at some of the skin off of it and chewed on it a little, but didn't eat much of it. So I gave that little piece to Lacy as well. Afterwards, I threw the towel in the washing machine and bathed Lacy. I'll probably give her another one next Sunday before her bath again.
