Yes, they most certainly can! And, I speak from experience. All it takes is for one to get into a puddle of contaminated water and the damage is done. You may have to treat all of your babies at once to get rid of the bug as they may be passing it back and forth between themselves. You may have to get all your babies down to the Veterinarian to get you some Metronidazole (sp?). Make sure you not only keep clean water accessible, but thoroughly clean their drinking bowls.
