forgot to add--don't be so hard on yourself. I applaud your attempts to bake cookies for your pooches. baking--even if you are baking for your family--is much more difficult than cooking. baking is an EXACT science...often times, if you make the slightest change, whether it's intentional or not, the cookies, cake, brownies, etc will flop, which is why exact measurements are necessary when baking. when cooking, you can add things for taste and experiment, and still have a very positive outcome. I actually LOVE to bake and cook, but I prefer baking, which is how I became interested in formulating recipes and baking dog treats. You should see the array of cookies I bake for family and friends during the holidays
