No there is no safe place, but the population in California shows that it's one of the preferred places to live.
I miss the down home people of Texas, but there is nothing like the weather and scenery of California and of course family.
Texas has 2 Seasons Summer and Christmas.
Actually most Texans have a distain for California....even those that have never traveled out of Texas. We met a young lady in Glen Rose, TX who had never been to Fort Worth or Dallas....maybe 40 mile drive. She considered both the evil cities.. There are alot of people in Texas that way, have never traveled out of their home towns
