 Microchipping
I am def one to find a bargain and I found one recently that was so good that I had to share. I purchased microchips off of ebay for my cat and dog and micro chipped them myself. The microchips were $3.00 and $3.50 each and the shipping was $5.00 with the combined shipping discount. Mind you that microchips cost about $20 each plus the vet fees. I then went to avidmicrochip.com and bought the prepaid registration for only $7.50 each. They are normally $15. (I had to register on their website as a hobby breeder though.) I saved a ton of money! The only downfall is that I had to do the actual microchip insertion myself. I have experience with injections, so it was not hard. But it is a very simple procedure that anyone would be able to do. Otherwise, anyone that is familiar with routine injections could complete the procedure, or a vet. All my pets are now registered and I feel quite a bit better about keeping my pets safe! |
