I like how active this forum is!
Today I have two Yorkies in the showring.
Chico is 2 years old and just got his last CC, so he is now an Icelandic Champion (ISCH)
He has been in 5 shows in total and of that he has 3 times Best of Breed, 2 times 2nd Best of Breed, 2 times been 3rd in group 3 (terriers) and 1 time Best in show
Mandla
(the name means "Almond" in english) who is now 9 months old, was Best Puppy of Breed in the show in march but now in the show in june she was in intermediate class and was second there and third in open class and got an HP and Champion Quality
Fargo had an accident, when he was 1 years old he was hit by a car and is lucky to be alive so we could not put him through shows any more but before that he was doing very well in the shows. So the puppies that he has had will just have to win the showring for him
and they have already started.
When Chico was best of breed on the show in june, Fargo´s daughter was 2nd best of breed (best bitch) and two of his newest puppies were 1st and 2nd Best Puppy of Breed.
We love to show and learn about Yorkies and see what is happening in the Yorkie around the world. We have alot of respect for the Yorkshire Terrier breed and also for people who are maintaining the breed as it should be.
