Hi and Welcome! I'm sorry to hear about your baby's knee. There's a ton of info on this site about lp.

As a matter of fact, if you do a search you'll find posts by TLC. I know she also lives on LI and has posted her surgeon's name and hospital.

I'm in NJ and if you're willing to come here, I can recommend my surgeon. He's within 1/2 hour of NYC in the Fairfield/West Caldwell area.

Just be careful in your search....make sure the Surgeon is Board Certified in Orthopaedics. It makes a huge difference in my opinion.

There's also different "versions" of the surgery. One is a simple deepening of the groove in the knee cap and the other involves "pinning" of the lower leg. The first version is usually represented by a lower price for the surgery but in the past few years surgeons have been performing the more entailed surgery.
