Usually the dog is not itself for at least 24 hours after being put under. Last time Lacy was put under, she stayed in her crate until the next morning (with two potty breaks in there). She mostly slept the whole time. The anaesthesia can take about 24 hours to completely wear off. I saw that you posted really early this morning, and I think it's completely normal that your dog wasn't competely back to normal by then. He should though be feeling more like himself tonight and definitely in the morning.
