I've had pups 2+# at 8 weeks.. I had two boys my friend bought and they were about the same size.. One is now 3# the other 7#... My friend likes the little bigger one as she's afraid of the smaller one getting hurts.. Usually yorkies have their structure time the are 6-7 months old but may gain more weight. The fastest weight gains is from birth to 8 weeks then they start to slow down.. That's why the can look so tinny at birth and a week later look like little pigs.. they are so round and fat you just want to eat them... I just love to smooshie them when they are like that.. they have great puppy breath tooo... I wish I could bottle it..
