They say (rule of thumb) to double their weight at 12 weeks. Your little guy sounds like he is going to be 7-8 lbs...that IS NOT a big dog..Grant you, we do have some tiny little ones on here. Standard is between 4-7 lbs. I wouldn't worry to much about it.
