I think it varies. I think most folks on here are around 10-12 weeks.
When I got my first Yorkie 20 years ago, we got him at 8 weeks. He was SO small and I spent the first several weeks just generally being terrified.
When I got my next Yorkie more than 11 years later, I brought him home at 11 weeks. He was much more stable and a much better size -- at least for me. Should I ultimately do this again, I will definitely want to be in that 10-14 week range and come home with one that I'm not terrified of killing.
