Silly goose, we all start somewhere . . I did not go to any sewing school . . . just tried to get boredom out of my system when I first moved to the US. I tell you nothing could stop me with my first project . . and I aimed big by doing covers for my first dining room set . . .it came out perfect for me but when it hit the wash, everything pretty much ravelled as I did not hem it well. My MIL was laughing so hard . . but she must have known it is something I will want to do so she got me my first serger (the sewing machine I borrowed from my sister that I never returned ) and the rest is history
