I am obsessed with my house smelling pretty too!!! I too spend a fortune on candles and air fresheners!!!! My neighbors laugh at me saying they can smell the candles even outside!!!! hehe!!!!
Funny, but true story!!!!
One night my hubby went out with some of his friends. So it was just me and my dad (who was staying with us cuz his house got flooded real bad) and I had about 12 candles lit!! So around 1 in the morning, ALL of my fire alarms go off!!!
I couldn't figure why they went off and couldn't figure out how to shut them off!!! So I run all over the house amking sure there is no fire- there wasn't but my dad still runs ouside!! So Now I am really feakin out- I live in a condo where there are 4 units attached. So I call the 911, maybe one of the other units are on fire!! So I hear the sirens on there way, and just then, my hubby comes home with a few of the guys and he starts freaking out too- but then I told him the fire dept was on the way. Mind you-- alarms still going off!!
he goes in and waves towel at the alarm thingy and it shuts off. Just then the fire dept shows up and they come inand see all my candles lit and blows all them out and proceeds to give me a lecture on burning them too long. I was embarassed!! We live in a condo complex where there are mainly people in their 60-80's!!! And only a few younguns like us!! So we woke everyone up, they all are outside seeing whats going on, there were like 3 fire trucks, 2 police cars!!! All because I had too many candles burning at one time!!!
So be careful burning too many candles at one time!!!!!! And not for too long!!!!!!!!
