As far as anesthetic goes. Ask your vet about a test that helps indicate if your baby will recact to it. My vet did one. I believe it goves a blood count, shows liver enzymes, shows blood sugar, and a few other things. Many vets have ran this test before the surgery and actually cancelled the surgery because something showed up high or low i the blood. Its a good pre-cautionary measure and only cost me $36.
