Hey all,
This post might get sort of lengthy because I just have so much to share
Me and my big mouth... Oh, and this sort of belongs in many forums...traveling with yorkies, products and reviews, yorkie pictures, so I just decided to do it here, and hope I don't get yelled at....
Kobi and I have been MIA from YT for about a week because we just took a trip to Minnesota (where I am from), and it was his first plane ride ever (6 in total!!!
) He did sooo well. To make a long story short, it's necessary to take 3 flights each way to get home so it made for two LONG days...and on our way home we missed our flight and had to spent the night in Detroit. But the Kobster was SUCH a trooper, and he just dealt with it and did soooo well. He only barked a few times in the airport (sick of being confined I think), but overall I'm pretty sure most people didn't have a clue I had a dog.
A couple of notes about the travel...if you are traveling with your yorkie in the future, PLEASE bring some food with in case what happened to me happens to you (being stuck overnight). I didn't think he would need any, and I had some treats so I just left it at my mom's for next time we are there. I'm really sorry I did, and I don't need anyone yelling at me for doing this, I just want to warn others.
Also, after Northwest made my flight 2 1/2 hrs late and I missed my other one, a rep for them had the nerve to come up to me and say...."Was your dog on the plane?" I said, yes (duh, obviously...). He said, "Where's the baby?" I said, what baby. And he was like, why do you have a stroller? And I said for my dog so I dont' have to carry him around. (keep in mind, I had called NW ahead of time to MAKE SURE it was okay..) Anyway, he said it in such a rude way then rolled his eyes and walked away. I was in tears because he made me feel so bad that I had a dog (THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID $80 for EACH WAY!!!). Anyway I was fit to be tied in Detroit...so we got a room and got going the next morning. Sorry to be soooo long tonight.
I've received MANY MANY things from YTers lately that I ordered and haven't had a chance to post pictures so that's the real reason for this thread...sorry if I'm all over the map. The first set is going to be Kobi in a rain coat I got from sims822257. It fits really well, and although Kobi doesn't like it, I SURE DO
and he'll get used to it.
Oh, and Kobi lost his first tooth while we were in MN (or at least the first one I found...) He must have wanted me to post on this because while I've been typing it up he lost ANOTHER
! He was just sitting there munching on it..uck.
The last pic in this set is my 10-year-old cousin who is Kobi's new BFF...he ADORES Kobi!!
