Actually it didnt hurt as much as I thought it would. I have a butterfly on my lower back and I had to stop half way because I coudlnt take the pain. I went back over 2 months later to get it finished. I knew I would sit through it because there was a reason of getting it done.
My mom is 52 and went for her first tattoo (cant believe it). She got an ankle bracelet and if you ask her if it hurt she'll tell you how bad it hurt. She said it felt like her bone was chattering.
