Chicago is one of my favorite towns and not far at all from Evanston. I think you can just follow Lakeshore Drive into Chicago.
We visit Chicago at least four times a year.
While in Evanston , you must go to the Davis Street Fish restaurant ( I think that is part of the name0. It is very good.
In Chicago , you should visit Terry's Toffee - it's to die for!
