My carpet went this past spring. Ceramic went down in the kitchen, living room and hall. Other bedrooms have tile and wood floors.
After getting Venus, as hard as I tried to get her to go only on the pads.....she was constantly going on the pads, off the pads, on the other side of the room, well you get it, right? I had my carpet shampooer parked in the living room since around Oct. Just gave up, carpet had to go!
And I still try to put a rug down once in a while, but she pees on them still and she's 1 year now. So no rugs for me yet, they still waiting and hoping here.
Since carpet is now gone, she's 100% on pee pads for peeing....now sometimes she just don't poop on them. But at least with ceramic, its easy to clean up! |
