 Debating what to do!!!
Hi all,
I bought a yorkie puppy last Dec. and now she is 8 months old. When I bought her the breeder said she would cover luxating patellas for the first year even though her contract states that she doesn't (she hand wrote it in)because I told her I already have two with this problem and didn't want another issue with it. In her contract she will not refund money but will give a new puppy. I took her the first week to the vet and he said she definately had loose knees, when I got home I called her and told her what the vet said, she replied that there is no way you can tell until they are a year old. So now she is 8 months old with the same problem and I am not sure what to do, I'm already looking at surguries for the other two and their kness, would you take her back to the breeder? But then I would get a puppy with the same issues, right? Don't get me wrong I love this pup and she cost me $1500. What do you think? |
