Two things I want to add; not sure how important they are, but I'll throw them out there anyway.
I think time is of the essence with respect to the video - they are routinely erased after a length of time in many cases. So I agree, a phone call from a lawyer would be a big help. Better than a letter.
Secondly, with regard to the microchip...I think it is fairly easy for someone to make a small cut and remove the chip. I know no one wants to imagine this happening, but I would want the vets to let Proud Mommy know of ANY new Yorkie coming in, not just one microchiped. I might be wrong about this, but I needed to mention it anyway. Otherwise, excuse my ignorance.
