i am not sure, but if i were to guess, they would only be in trouble if they got into the actual thing, i dont think one little ant with that tiny amount of poison could really really hurt them. i know this is a silly question, but how many ants do you think they eat?? i doubt 1 or 2 would hurt, but if they were eating a lot a day maybe the build up would be bad.
