I am in the same situation as you. We will be leaving at the end of March to go to Orlando Florida for 8 nights
. I am so not looking forward to leaving her. I still do not know what we will do with her when we are gone either. I live in Ohio and all my family lives in New York so I have no family here. My husbands family lives here but he has a small family. My husbands sisters family is coming with us and his mother is staying in Ohio and watching her daughter who is handicapped and cant come. The only problem with that is my Yorkie is not fully housebroken yet. They are the type of people with white carpets and are extremly clean and also think that fish are to dirty to have. So I do not think she will be allowed to stay there. Anyway I am not much help. Just letting you know someone else is going through the same thing as you. I might ask some of the neighbor kids if they would take care of her while we are gone and make a little extra spending money. At least then Amber will get to stay in her own home. I think that would be less stressfull than anything else on her.
