I was about to ask the same question! My SweetPea went to her first meet-up the other week. There were about seven yorkies there. Five minutes in the small dog park area, and she starts to foam (not just slobering, but FOAMING) in the mouth
. So I immediately brought her to the dog water fountain to clean her mouth and give her water. It was hot, so I thought that perhaps it was the heat. But I got so worried, so I left after 15 minutes. She was okay when we got to the house, and has not occured again since. So myy conclusion was: My SweetPea decided to be drama queen that day
, being that this was her first time to socialize with other yorkies!
