janet thanks for posting this. Indiana is too close to ky for comfort. i got up right when i read it and vaccinated my two six and a half week old babies. i was trying to wait until eight weeks since a couple of very knowledgable people on here say the latest thing is to wait till eight weeks. it is just too scary and I have always given them at six weeks before. What is happening is breeders and people that are giving their own shots are getting the cheaper medication that doesn't have the Cvk in it. i have had people say why do you pay what you do. Well, this is why. i have looked at vaccines and the ones that are twenty five vaccines for usually around 58-60 dollars don't have the CVk. i pay anywhere from 100 to 110 for mine because I always get the one with the cvk. no lepto tho. So i would advise people to get the five way with the coronavirus killed bacteria added. |
