You are not alone, I did it to Oliver too. about a 1/4 inch slice into the edge of his ear. He didn't even cry out. I didn't know I did it till I saw all the blood, and there was A LOT of blood. I felt terrible, I kept pressure on it for a long time. No wonder he hates it when I groom him.
