I have family coming to town today so of course I wanted my babies to look their very best. I wasn't aware that I was going to hurt my baby in the process.
I just thought I'd trim up the hair on their ears, after I gave them their baths.
I had my daughter hold Abbie's head so I can trim the hair and she wouldn't move on me.
Well, I was cuting this lil piece sticking out of her ear, and she moved and I cut a lil sliver off the side of her ear. OMG, I started to panic. I immediately called my vet and asked what to do, they said to keep some ointment on it, and keep pressure on it. It honestly isn't that bad of a cut, but bad enough to make me hate myself. I feel horrible. She didn't even whine or anything. And it didn't take long for the bleeding to stop.
I think I learned my lesson on trimming the ears.
